Our classes help you move with greater strength, balance, confidence, and ease while building meaningful connections with others.

Moving Through Parkinson’s, LLC (MTP) was started in 2014 as an extension of ongoing classes through the Music Therapy Program at Colorado State University.

We meet Mondays 11:00-12:15 and Wednesdays 2:00-3:15pm.

Community and Collaboration are the foundation of this work

Participants form meaningful connections that reduce isolation and restore trust in their bodies. Movement becomes a practical, everyday tool, and supports mobility, resilience, and well-being.

Our Community & Collaboration

MTP is an affiliate program of CSU Dance and partners with the CSU Center for Healthy Aging where the classes are held. It is an interdisciplinary program that brings together CSU students and faculty from dance, music therapy, and occupational therapy, alongside community partners committed to healthy aging. multiple sclerosis, as well as those experiencing age-related challenges including dementia.
